Thanks Melody! This is a strange winter indeed – it was snowing in D.C. yesterday and today here in FL we’ll barely reach mid 50s…spring breakers are freezing in the cold wind.
I know, dirty-snow gray was never my favorite color when I lived up north. I hope you’ll get some spring rains to clean it all up soon…and then it’ll all be fresh green in no time 🙂
Lovely words. There is little sign of Spring here in North Wales UK, except for a few pussy willow buds on one tree by the lake. But I know it’s on the way.
nice shot(:
Thanks – it’s a gloomy looking waiting room for spring…
What a great way to put it – that is indeed how early Spring feels, isn’t it? Nice!

I made a joking comment earlier on another blog about a mini Ice Age – maybe it isn’t so funny… ;(
It still sounds funny…but I observe that what we used to call extreme in weather, whether cold or hot, isn’t so extreme any more.
Still waiting here…would love to say good-bye to all the dirty snow, which never helps the wait for spring!

and I’m still waiting as well for this cold to go away.
I believe we all are, the severity of the cold just varies…
True.
Here in Newfoundland /winter lingers too durn long/springs here are too short!
Spring is short but sweet/when she finally arrives/paints in fresh colors?

That looks like a very nice, peaceful place. Spring is waiting for winter to leave here too. Hugs
Thanks! Let’s hope the wait will be short 🙂
Preeetty!
Thanks – it’s pretty but quite wet and chilly!
Beautiful. And mercy, that irridescent aqua colour: stunning.
You’d feel you could wait “forever” right there.
Thanks much! I’ve waited quite a few moments there…
What a beautiful and tranquil place!
Thanks! It’s from our place in Finland of course…!
