Silence is an Ocean – Rumi. (WPC Five Images)

Nothing’s happening
Yet everything is here Now
I breathe in silence.

I wait in silence
For a small sign from above
To take the next step.

The day goes to sleep
Never to wake up again
Blue silence remains.

In the silence of the night
I trust and exhale.

Monday Musings: Observe the Wonders

Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don’t claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent. -Rumi

Monday Musings: On Love

This weeks musings include six of my favorite quotes on love, with images from nature I feel represent the message. With somewhat creative interpretation.

Perhaps something to ponder. Have a wonderful week. Tiny

Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible – it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could. – Barbara de Angelis

Monday Musings: On Silence

“Let silence take you to the core of life.”

“The quieter you become the more able you are to hear.”

Rumi

 “Are you listening?

Be aware of the silence.

Hear life’s depths revealed.

Watch sources of strength be born.

Be still – be present.”

-Tiny 🙂

Musing Monday: Stop Weaving

“In Silence there is eloquence.

Stop weaving

and see how the pattern improves.”

– Rumi

We might believe we are at the controls of our life, and therefore able to weave whatever pattern we have designed. But many of us have already learned that the pattern we’ve weaved doesn’t look anything like the design we had made. And some of it certainly isn’t that eloquent. Can we stop weaving and trust that the pattern will improve? Something to ponder this week … when the Selfie Sticks sell like butter.

Musing Monday: Ocean

“You are not

a drop in the ocean.

You are the entire ocean

in a drop.”

– Rumi

This is my first musing for the week. Something to contemplate. How we see ourselves, internally and in relation to others, everything that is. Connectedness. Contribution. Harmony. Storms and calmness. Movement. And whatever else these words might mean to us individually.

I hope to continue with these musings on Monday mornings whenever possible, sharing quotes I value, new poems or just simple thoughts I like to reflect upon. And an illustration to go with the train of thought.

Have a wonderful week.
