harboring love and hope but no fear.
A new year is a thousand opportunities
to bring a smile on a stranger’s face
a sparkle of joy on an angel’s wing.
Reflections of Joy
Quietly rowing
on mid-life lake searching for
reflections of joy.
Waterfall
River of emotions runs through you
a waterfall of crystallized tears is born
tiny pearls of gratitude and strength
flow downstream to touch your heart
in the palm of your stretched hand
droplets of love gather and thrive
in close vicinity of the waterfall
you can hear the silent song of the soul.
