This weeks musings include six of my favorite quotes on love, with images from nature I feel represent the message. With somewhat creative interpretation.
Perhaps something to ponder. Have a wonderful week. Tiny
We are born of love. Love is our mother. – Rumi
*****
A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love. – Max Muller
*****
Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible – it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could. – Barbara de Angelis
*****
The first duty of love is to listen. – Paul Tillich
*****
Love is like a beautiful flower, which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same. – Helen Keller
*****
Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love. – Mother Teresa
Beautiful photos and thoughts!
Thanks Hien, happy you enjoyed the combination.
Devine captures – love that effect on the rose! 😉
Thank you Joanne! I painted just a little on that rose 🙂
Like the beautiful rose you posted for your mother a while ago.
Yes, I’ve done a few of these digitally “painted” roses.
Your ‘painting’ skills are excellent.
Beautiful on love post! Exquisite photos and perfect quotes. Thank you so much, Tiny!
Thanks Amy! Those are some of my favorite quotes ….and photo subjects.
Beautiful post Tiny! 🙂
Happy you enjoyed the post H.J. 🙂
Wonderful!
Happy you liked it Kathy!
Tillich quote is my favorite . . . especially when paired with your photo.
It’s a short, but thought-worthy quote. The Nanday Parakeets are definitely in love…and listening to each other, even when their “song” doesn’t sound that appealing to us humans 🙂
pure loveliness!
Thank you kindly Cindy.
All so beautiful ~ and the Mother Teresa quote, just perfect. Have a great week…
That quote is so worth internalizing. Thanks Randall, have a wonderful week too.
Ahhhh to listen is the key….lovely photos! Have a wonderful evening Tiny!
It is the key…but sometime we forget, at least I do. Have a great day, Koko!
A wonderful collection – thank you!
Happy you enjoyed it, Julie.
What a wonderful start to my day!!! Thanks tiny 😍
Have a wonderful day…still enjoying your family, I assume!
Yep – still in Scotland … With lovely Spring sunshine 🙂
Enjoy 🙂
great images and true words. gave me a thought-provoking impulse…to the finnish moll-tango, that escorts so gentle the longing and impassionate world of love in its manyfaceted forms: near by passion, disappointment, happiness, future and death…
Oh, I know exactly what you mean, Sirpa! I can hear the music too…
Astonishing. Those parakeets. On your walk?
On my walk, David. This little marsh is so rich in life and treats.
You have talent friend. Deep well of it.
Aww…that’s very kind of you to say, David.
