The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful. – E.E. Cummings
Today’s thought is about pausing and seeing the beauty of the natural world. The skies, the bodies of water, the animals and the plants. The beautiful whole, of which we ourselves are a part, and the delicious, little details. Mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful will make you smile. If you take the time to look.
Mud-lucious. Now my word of the day.
My favorite today as well 🙂
Mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful…Just those two words make me smile. 🙂
They are playful, just like nature 🙂
Yes! I’m going to find me a puddle!
Should be easy where you are, Nancy!
That is a cool capture! 🙂
Thanks Amy!
That’s a wonderful capture Tiny! Fantastic photo! 🙂
The Little Blue Heron was clearing his throat before he took off, I had the time to get ready 😀
Aloft! Wonderful!
Happy you liked it Elena!
cool!
Happy you liked the little feet, Alois!
Simply, Wow! What a moment you caught. This is photo contest worthy!
Thanks Eric! It has never even occurred to me to participate in a photo contest 😀 But I love nature and it’s wonderful that some friends, like you, enjoy my photos.
You are welcome. Please consider yourself and your photographic talent nudged. 🙂
While I admire the sentiment, right now stepping out into nature means frozen nose hairs quivering in a frigid polar wind. I’m enjoy the good ‘ol indoors right now, thank you very much.
There are exceptions to every “rule” 🙂 I still remember that kind of weather very well. Indoors was very attractive, with or without fire crackling.
Thanks Alois!
I’m smiling! Mud-luscious? Puddle-wonderful??? Bringing back childhood memories of being barefoot, splashing in puddles and feeling the delicious squish of mud between my toes. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
That’s what I thought too when I found this quote some time back! Then happened to get this shot last week when the Little Blue Heron took off…Many hugs Amy!!
Wow what a capture, brilliant job.
Thanks, Leanne, for your encouragement!
Great image and quote, Tiny. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia! This Little Blue Heron didn’t have stockings unlike your Great Blue Heron a few days back 🙂
Fabulous foto! Bravo!
Thanks Cindy! This time I had a little luck.
Makes me want to put on rubber boots and splash around like when I was a kid! 🙂
🙂 I admit, it’s tempting!
