Musing Monday: Nature

The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful. – E.E. Cummings

Today’s thought is about pausing and seeing the beauty of the natural world. The skies, the bodies of water, the animals and the plants. The beautiful whole, of which we ourselves are a part, and the delicious, little details. Mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful will make you smile. If you take the time to look.

    1. Thanks Eric! It has never even occurred to me to participate in a photo contest 😀 But I love nature and it’s wonderful that some friends, like you, enjoy my photos.

  1. While I admire the sentiment, right now stepping out into nature means frozen nose hairs quivering in a frigid polar wind. I’m enjoy the good ‘ol indoors right now, thank you very much.

    1. There are exceptions to every “rule” 🙂 I still remember that kind of weather very well. Indoors was very attractive, with or without fire crackling.

  2. I’m smiling! Mud-luscious? Puddle-wonderful??? Bringing back childhood memories of being barefoot, splashing in puddles and feeling the delicious squish of mud between my toes. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. That’s what I thought too when I found this quote some time back! Then happened to get this shot last week when the Little Blue Heron took off…Many hugs Amy!!
