Lovely way to begin the week, Tiny! Thank you! 🙂
Thanks Carrie! Service is always something to ponder. I know I can do more.
Thanks kindly, Cindy!
I say AMEN to this!! Good morning, Tiny!!! Love, Amy
Good morning Any! Have a wonderful day! Love, Tiny
(((HUGS))) You too, Tiny!!!
Wonderful mantra, Tiny. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia! Service (to others) is a word that deserves repeating, at least for me 🙂
After leaving the practice of law, I worked/served in the non-profit world for 10 years ~ leading a crisis intervention team to educate victims of domestic violence and then running an AmeriCorps program. BFF switched from construction related work to running a ReStore for Habitat for Humanity.
Lots of warm fuzzy feelings from serving others.
That is great! I don’t think there’s anything more internally rewarding. I have worked for international non-profits since I was in my mid thirties, that of course is just a little while 🙂 and still do consult with them every now and then.
And even casual encounters offer ample opportunities to be of service to our fellow man . . . a win-win for everyone.
So true! Thanks Nancy.
Indeed, grow! Servant leadership is a concept I learned early in my career (thanks to a wonderful mentor) and have openly practiced since. The experience, while practically innate, has returned unanticipated blessings many fold. Giving, sharing, and guiding – unconditionally. Why not? 🙂
Yes, indeed! I love this quote from William Arthur Ward: “We must be silent before we can listen. We must listen before we can learn. We must learn before we can prepare. We must prepare before we can serve. We must serve before we can lead.”
A great quote and series of actions, even if one seeks not to lead. It’s still a significant part of growth and personal development. Thanks for sharing this!
Love this haiku call to action Tiny.
Thank you for sharing for the week ahead 🙂
You’re welcome Val! Every new week will provide us opportunities to serve, we just need to see them 🙂
Happy it spoke to you, Kathy!
