It’s fashionable.
Hiding one’s real self
Behind a carefully crafted façade
Emotions covered, heart protected
Mind closed to deeper interactions
Tears hidden by dazzling smiles

great shot!
Thanks Cindy! I almost missed him.
Too cute, could be a birch!!!
Yes, he could have been…neck sticking up like a tree trunk.
Wonderful.
Happy you liked my little composition, David.
Come on Helen. Nothing “Little” about it. It’s LARGE.
Now smiling.
Such sad truth in your eloquent words, Tiny! What a wonderful reminder to dance like no one is watching!! I may be taking that to the extreme these days… 😉
I’m happy you’re dancing!! I don’t think there really is an extreme…just ourselves, more of ourselves. Thus a more beautiful dance 🙂
He blends in beautifully ; perhaps an example of how to blend in with beauty and grace and retaining one’s integrity. 🙂
That’s a nice thought! Blending in with grace and integrity!
He has a natural gift to just blend in doesn’t he? amazing
Yes, he was very good this time, to the point that I first walked past him and then looked again.
You just reminded me of one of the things my old office mate, Lloyd, used to say, “teenagers are all non-conformists; just like everyone else.” It is amazing just what we all will do to blend in 🙂
That’s so true. Some blend in more than others. I love Lloyd’s saying 🙂
Lloyd had a lot of wisdom to share. One of my favourite quotes came during a provincial election in the 1990’s. In the midst of a discussion around all the promises and rhetoric being tossed around by the would-be leaders Lloyd casually noted, “it doesn’t matter who you vote for, the Government always gets in.”
He WAS wise 🙂
Good eye! He does blend right in!
He was fairly close to the foot path but wanted to be incognito, I guess.
