This plant amazes me, I have never seen a real one. These pictures are gorgeous. Hugs
There is an orange colored Bird of Paradise flower also. It’s the one we sometimes see in fancy flower arrangements.
The white one is a larger, palm-like plant and the flower really doesn’t have a stem. But it is equally beautiful with bright white and light blue. Hugs to you too.

there are two plants in this family: the orange one which has a long stem and is a smaller plant, and this white one with almost no stem and a larger, palm-like plant 🙂
Yes, the orange one is familiar to me; it grows here in Australia very well – makes a great border plant, and is extremely hardy. I must ask the local nursery about the white one..! 😉
