This is a timely message and image. The Godwits arrive in Christchurch in September each year and in March they depart. On 2nd March, the city has an official farewell for the birds as they embark on their huge journey back to the Artic Tundra. http://www.listener.co.nz/from-our-archive/cleared-for-landing/ The daring and skill of these little ones is awe-inspiring.

Thanks. First I did a few Photoshop edits (colors and lighting) then used several filters on the top of each other, including one that adds glow, but I don’t remember which filters and in which order…I always just try stuff until I like it 🙂
