I always feel joy when meeting dolphins! Luckily we have many of them around the coast here. Sometimes they come to swim with us but I never carry a camera when snorkeling 🙂
One time, on a vacation at the Jersey shore, I was lying on the beach when I caught movement way out on the horizon. A group of dolphins were jumping, frolicking way out there. It was amazing! And I was shocked to see them up so far north!

Sometimes they come up north when the ocean warms a bit in the summer. Happy you could enjoy them!
