Flying again
Flap, flap, flap
Wings heavy from effort
Up and up we go
30 thousand and counting
Flap, flap, flap
Expecting a nose-dive
Inevitable
To catch a (s)wordfish
Flap, flap, flop.

Beautiful
Thanks a lot!
You are really flying! Fantastic.
Flying a little bit again – much thanks to a break and my good friend Jackie who gave me excellent ideas that I can flap around!
🙂
You’re cranking through your writing! Wow..impressive!
Cranking is a good way to put it! Cranking a bit after my morning walk with the dog. Then a 45 min beach walk with hubby before lunch time and then back to cranking. Two days cleaned out of other work and pretty much dedicated to cranking out words and walking. And a few dark chocolate balls
Good for you!
Nice play on words…..
Thanks Mary!
Amazing picture!! Glad words are back. Hugs
Thanks Mag! I caught this duo about three weeks ago on my “beach watch”. Hugs
I love how this photo makes it look like he is riding on his back. Great perspective.
Thanks Laurie! I thought it was quite a funny picture as their wings flap to a different drum. That day on the beach I was lucky to get many nice shots!
Ohh my, amazing picture ! I’m pulled by the repetition of the Flap– there’s a sound to it especially read out loud, in pauses~ Terrific !
Thank you so much Debbie! That’s how the poem was born, with sound of their wings 🙂
