I found this tranquil place
by chance this afternoon
tucked at the back
of an old English garden.
When I sit here
time doesn’t chase me
and no thought is too small
or too big to be born.
The space opens skyward
light streaming down
as if calling me, urging me
to reach for my dreams.

p.s. I feel so alive here.
Beautifully written!
I am happy you liked it.
Lovely!! Those quiet places are certainly magic for the soul 😉
They truly are!
What a beauty!
Thank you for joining me in this beautiful place.
That really looks like a beautiful and tranquil place. Lovely poem 🙂
Thanks – happy you enjoyed my place 🙂
Gorgeous poem. We all need a place like this in our lives.
Yes we do, our lives tend to be so fast paced that moments of quiet are precious. Thanks Sonya.
I can totally relate to coming alive in nature. Beautiful pic + words.
Thanks Nancy. Walking/jogging in the nature is preferable to staying in the gym, at least for me 🙂
Alright, where are you? Because I want to be there. I love the photo, and of course the poem. 🙂
Now I’m already at home, right here, next to the NaNoWriMo widget 🙂
Ohhh good going 🙂
🙂
Love the words! I would sure like a place just like that in my backyard. Hugs
Thanks Mag! I’d love that too, nothing like this secluded in my garden. Hugs to you too.
Wonderful place 🙂
Thank you Niki!
I don’t like being ‘chased by time’, either! 😦
Unfortunately he’s a very diligent “chaser” and we need to make an effort to escape at times!
A beautiful spot.
Yes, I wish I could’ve stayed!
Beautiful composition.
Thank you 🙂
Gorgeous photo and lovely poem.
Thank you Matti! Have a wonderful weekend!
