Enough is enough
fully rested and ready
it’s time to get dressed.
Just asking for some fresh leaves
nothing fancy, green will do.

We are all waiting patiently for spring aren’t we? Yes, bring on the green!
Yes to that! Here in the south we’re finally seeing a warm-up after the 3rd coldest March on record.
give me green! Love the post.
Thanks Ellie! You’ll get the green 🙂
I’m looking forward to it! You are so welcome!
Our trees are dressed in silver today…
That can be beautiful too, although I’m sure they’d like to dress in green shortly….
I am so in need of some green dressing here in Milwaukee. I shall have to be content with the sun shining of for the last few days. That has been a welcome change.
This strikes a good chord. Spring leaves and blossoms dress our landscapes in greens, whites (dogwood), redbud, crabapple/cherry reds, yellow daffodils/ forsythia, pink magnolia and purple crocuses. Blue lilac one of my favorites! Spring emerging again.
Thanks for your beautiful comment!
