Resting in the winter’s lap
waiting for the spring
lake is freezing for its nap
waking when birds sing.
Time appears be standing still
life breathing slower now
but people in their daily mill
don’t quite know the how.

Thanks! The color pleased my eye too – my dad’s old boat.

What a beautiful concept to imagine “life breathing slower now.” Thank you for reminding me to slow down and savor the season. Happy New Year to YOU!

Time does appear to be standing still…in a calm and calming way.
